Our story

The Carlstar Group is engaged in the production of speciality tires and wheels worldwide in the markets of agricultural, industrial and outdoor power machines as well as trailers and powersports. The Carlstar Group employs more than 3,500 people in seven countries, moreover, created a corporate culture of turning great ideas into advanced products through excellence in innovation, quality and a customer focus.

1917

The company was established in 1917 in Carlisle, PA, USA under the name Carlisle Tire and Rubber Company.

1926

The first extruded and fully cast inner tube structures were introduced.

1960

New product development has started such as roofing materials, insulated wires, baby food container sealing rings, aeronautical products, electronic products, recreational tires, car accessories and brake pads

1986

Introduction of a new corporate structure: opening new locations Meizhou, Aiken, Jackson, Clinton

2012

AIP joins the company as an investor

Expansion overseas: opening a new European center in Budapest

Opening a new Europen distribution center in Páty
